Members of the public may address the Council concerning items on the Consent Agenda or any
non-agenda item under Statements from the Public. Time Limit: 3 minutes
Members of the public who wish to speak on any item listed on the Regular Session or Workshop Session
Agenda will be called on when the issue comes up for discussion. Time Limit: 3 minutes
Anyone wishing to speak should complete a Public Comment Card (on the table at back of Council Chambers)
and submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting.

1. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2018-05 – BUDGET AMENDMENT
TO FUND PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING ROOF REPLACEMENT – REQUEST FOR
CONTINUANCE Consider a motion to continue to August 9, 2018 the second reading and
enactment of Ordinance 2018-05 amending the FY18 General Fund Budget and amending
the Capital Projects Fund Budget to provide funding for replacement of the Public Safety
building roof.

D. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro-forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

2. Receive for file Minutes of the Recreation Advisory Board meeting held 7/10/18.
E. OTHER VILLAGE BUSINESS MATTERS
1. RESOLUTION – TENTATIVE MILLAGE RATE Consider a motion to adopt a proposed
resolution adopting a tentative millage rate of 7.3300 mils for fiscal year 2018-2019, and
establishing a date, time and place for the first hearing on the tentative budget and
proposed millage rate.

2. RESOLUTION – 2ND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR HAZARD PREPAREDNESS,
PLANNING, CONSULTING AND RECOVERY SERVICES Consider a motion to adopt a
proposed resolution approving a Second Amendment to an Agreement for Hazard
Preparedness, Planning, Consulting and Recovery Services with GP Strategies Corporation
to increase the compensation to $64,755.52; and authorizing execution of the Amendment.

3. RESOLUTION – APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER TO THE AUDIT COMMITTEE Consider a
motion to adopt a proposed resolution appointing one new member to the Audit Committee.

4. MOTION – PARTIAL RELEASE OF LIEN Consider a motion to approve or deny a request
for execution of Partial Release of a Code Enforcement Lien imposed against David
Mahoney for violations existing at 551 Marlin Road.

the Village Clerk’s office at 841-3355 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
