BILL 1017 — AMENDING CODE TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICE. Consider a motion to approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1017, a proposed ordinance amending the Code to provide the terms and conditions for the erecting, constructing, and maintaining of a telecommunications facility in the Village's public rights-of-way for telecommunications service. Enact Bill 1017 as Ordinance No ACTION b. BILL 1019 — ESTABLISHING CAPITAL PROJECT FUND FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS. Consider a motion to approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1019, a proposed ordinance establishing a capital project fund for the Village for certain capital projects and transferring the budget for renovations of the village hall, canal dredging, north substation and construction of Anchorage Park parking lot. Enact Bill 1019 as Ordinance No. ACTION BILL 1020 — CODE AMENDMENT.- OUTDOOR STORAGE FACILITIES FOR MARINAS. Consider a motion to approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1020, a proposed ordinance amending Section 45-32 of the Code to allow outdoor storage facilities for marinas and providing parking spaces. ACTION 2 REGULAR SESSION AGENDA — THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2001 d. BILL 1021 — BOAT DOCK AMENDMENT. Consider a motion to approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1021, a proposed ordinance amending the definition for private dock, pier, mooring buoy and floating anchor contained within Section 5-81 of Division 4 of Article III by changing "owner" to "occupant". Enact Bill 1021 as Ordinance No ACTION e. BILL 1022 — ZONING CODE AMENDMENT — C -A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. Consider a motion to approve first reading of Bill 1022, a proposed ordinance amending Subsection B, Uses Permitted, of Section 45-31, C -A Commercial District, of the Zoning Code to add the permitted use of "musical instrument sales and instruction/education". ACTION 13. RESOLUTIONS a. RESOLUTION — LAWN MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT — GENERATION GREEN. Consider a motion to adopt a resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor and Village Clerk to enter into a lawn/landscape maintenance agreement with Generation Green, Inc. for lawn and landscape maintenance at the North Palm Beach Country Club. ACTION b. RESOLUTION — MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH HI -RISE SAFETY SYSTEMS — PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT (TABLED ON 1/11/01). Consider a motion to adopt a resolution authorizing the Mayor and Village Clerk to enter into a maintenance agreement with Hi -Rise Safety Systems, Inc. for maintenance of the Public Safety fire alarm system. ACTION 14. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS a. BUDGET TRANSFER — POOL FILTER DISCHARGE LINE. Consider a motion to approve budget transfer in the amount of $24,000 from L8070-49910 (Country Club Contingency) to L8051-66000 (Country Club Pool -Capital) for installation of pool filter discharge piping to reroute the pool filter discharge from the storm drain system to the sanitary sewer system. ACTION REGULAR SESSION AGENDA — THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2001 b. U. S. 1 RESURFACING PROJECT. Consider a motion to direct staff to advise the Florida Department of Transportation regarding the 6-laning or 4-laning of U. S. 1. ACTION C. BUDGET TRANSFER — PERFORMANCE RAISES — GENERAL FUND. Consider a motion to approve a budget transfer in the amount of $73,4189.00 from A5540-49925 (Performance Raises) and A5540-49914 (Reserve -Miscellaneous) to various departments for performance raises given to employees. ACTION d. BUDGET TRANSFER — PERFORMANCE RAISES — COUNTRY CLUB. Consider a motion to approve a budget transfer in the amount of $$9,187.00 from L8070-49925 (Performance Raises) to various departments for performance raises given to employees . ACTION e. DANCE FLOOR — NPBCC. Consider a motion to authorize J.E.D.L., Inc. to install a dance floor in the lounge area of the North Palm Beach Country Club in accordance with Village building codes; cost to be incurred by J.E.D.L., Inc. ACTION 15. ADJOURNMENT Next Ordinance 01-2001 Next Resolution 18-2001 If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council.
