Re Coating of NPBCC Swimming Poolr~ u RESOLUTION N0, 281-66 ' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE TO SETTLE ITS CLAIM AGA]:NST THOMAS HODGES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND CONTINEN- TAL CASUALTY COMPANY REGARDING THE COATING AT THE NORTH PALM HEACH COUNTRY CLUB SWIMMING POOL FOR THE SUM OF $3,000.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO SIGN A ' GENERAL RELEASE TO CONTINENTAL CASUALTY COMPANY AND THOMAS HODGES CONSTRUCTION COMPANY CCNCERNING THIS LITIGATION, ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ # # ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Village Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle that certain action at law in the Circuit; Court of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, in and for Palm Beach County, No. 65 L 1292-D, entitled Village of North Palm Beach, Plaintiff, vs. Thomas Hodges Construction Company and Continental Casualty Company, Defendants, for the sum of THREE THOUSAND 09,000.00) DOLLARS, This litigation concerned the coating on the switmning pool at the North Palm Beach Country Club, and it is the considered opinion o£ the Village Council that the settlement of the claim in the amount of .3,000,00 is proper and advantageous to the Village of North Palm Beach. Section 2. The Mayor and the Village Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute a general release to Continental Casualty Company and Thomas Hodges Construction Company concerning the litigation referred to above.
