RESOLUTION NC. 265-1966
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE CGUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLGRIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 15, 1966,

WHEREAS, on the 15th day of March, 1966, there was held in the Village of North Palm Beach,
Palm Beach County, Florida, a General Election for the purpose of electing councilmen to the Village
Council for Groups 1, 3 and 5; and
WHEREAS, by due resolution, the following named persons were appointed Inspectors and CIeTk
of said election, to-wit: Ralph J, Cohn, Cathryn L, Mitchell, Eleanor Engel and Betty Redding,
Inspectors, and Mary Jane Jenkins, Clerk; and
WHEREAS, on March 16, 1966, said Inspectors and Clerk, after. taking and subscribing their
oath in accordance with the law, made their returns to the Village Council, which returns certified
that the following is the result of said General Election, to-wit:
Total Machine Vote 744
Total Absentee Uote. 2
For Villaee Councilman. Group 1:
Allan V, Everard received
Virginia M, Greene received
For Village Councilman. Group 3:
David C, Clark received
Henry M, Eckes, Jr. received
For Village Councilman, Group 5:
Thomas F, Lewis received
Luther M, Taylor received

WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of said General Election and

finds that the returns of the Inspectors and Clerk of said Election are true and correct tabulations
of the votes cast; now, therefore
BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE CGUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLGRIDA:
Section 1. That the Village Council finds and declares that the following is the result
of said General Election, to-wit:
For Villaee Councilman. Group 1:

Allan U, Everard received 491 votes
Virginia M, Greene received 2 votes
For Village Councilman Group 3:
David C, Clark received to.CL votes
Henry M, Eckes, Jr. received 294 votes
