A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH AUTHORIZING
THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VIIS,AGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
' BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1, There having been delivered to the Village Manager a deed in form as
per attached copy, such deed is hereby duly accepted by the Village pursuant to discussion
of such subject participated in by the citizens of the Village and the Village Council at a
• public meeting held on the 10th, day of December, 1957.
Section 2, Until further notice the Village Treasurer shall, out of ,funds budgeted
for that purpose, pay monthly to the grantor named in such deed the monthly sums called for
thereby, beginning January 1, 1958.
Section 3. Prior to the end of the option period given in such deed, there shall
be submitted to the vote of the freeholders of such Village the proposition as to whether
the Village should purchase the property described in such deed upon the terms and conditions
therein named,
Section 1~, The Village Manager shall see that the interests of the Village in and
to said property are properly covered by all. necessary types of insurance.
Section 5. During the time while such deed is in effect, Village Taxes shall not
be assessed against said property,
Section 6, During the time while such deed is in effect, to such extent as there
shall be space in the building located upon said land not needed for Village purposes, the
Village Manager shall permit the use thereof, without compensation by office personnel of
utilities serving the inhabitants of the Village, or by office personnel of the grantor
named in such deed,

THIS DEED, dated this 31st, day of December A. D., 1957, between NORTH PALM BEACH
PROPERTIES, INC., a Florida coporatior., hereinafter called the Grantor, which term shall
include when used herein, wherever the context so requires or admits, its successors and
assigns, and VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called the
Grantee, which term shall include when used herein, wherever the context so requires or
admits, its successors and assigns,
WITNESSETH: That for the sum of Ten Dollars 010.00} and other good and valuable
considerations, said Grantor does hereby grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release,
convey and confirm unto the said Grantee all that certain piece of property and tract of
land situate in the County of Palm Beach and State of Florida, described as Follows:
Lot 10 in Block 8 in Replat of Block 8, VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
PLAT N0. 1, according to the Plat thereof, on file in the office of
the Clerk of the Circuit Court, in and for Palm Beach County, Florida,
in Plat Book 25, at page 103.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said Grantee for a term of three years from
date, or so long as the Grantee pays to the Grantor the sum of ~1t65.00 per month, whichever
period be shorter.
The Grantee shall have to and including January 2, 1961, at midnight, an exolusive
option to purchase the unencumbered fee interest of Grantor in and to said property at a
price of X206,213.59, against which price shall be credited monthly payments made by the
Grantee hereunder and similar payments made in the year 195?. Such price shall be payable
with 6~ interest from the date such option is exercised, principal and interest to be amortized
over a twenty-year period.
And the said Grantor does hereby covenant that it will warrant and defend the
title to said land against the 1aw£ul claims of all persons.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said Grantor has caused these presents to be executed by
its President, and its corporate seal to be affixed, attested by its Secretary, the day and
year aforesaid.
