A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FROM
PUBLIC RISK MANAGEMENT OF FLORIDA TO PROVIDE PROPERTY
AND CASUALTY INSURANCE FOR THE VILLAGE AND AUTHORIZING
VILLAGE ADMINISTRATION TO TAKE ALL ACTIONS NECESSARY TO
IMPLEMENT SUCH COVERAGE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village, through its agent of record, initiated a Request for Proposals to provide
a property and casualty insurance program for the Village; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommended accepting the proposal from Public Risk
Management of Florida to renew its property and casualty insurance program for two years
through Fiscal Year 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby accepts the proposal submitted from Public Risk
Management of Florida ("PRM") to provide property and casualty insurance to the Village
through Fiscal Year 2019. The Village further authorizes Village Administration to talce all
actions necessary to implement such coverage.
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 21sT DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2017.
