Mayor Valente called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. All members of Council were
present except Councilman O'Meilia, who was out of town. All members of staff were
present.
BILL 785 -AMENDING ZONING CODE TO PROVIDE REQUIREMENTS FOR ADULT
ENTERTAINMENT ESTABLISHMENTS -PLACED ON SECOND READING AND
ENACTED AS ORD. 22-95
Vice Mayor Marks moved that Bill 785 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ADDING A SECTION 45-20 TO
ARTICLE II OF APPENDIX C-ZONING OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE VILLAGE TO PROVIDE FOR ZONING REQUIREMENTS FOR
ADULT ENTERTAINMENT ESTABLISHMENTS; PROVIDING
LEGISLATIVE INTENT AND FINDINGS OF FACT; PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVENESS AND APPLICABILITY OF THE COUNTY "ADULT
ENTERTAINMENT CODE"; PROVIDING ZONING DISTANCE
REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE

NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 45-2,
DEFINITIONS, OF ARTICLE I OF APPENDIX C-ZONING OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE TO ADD A DEFINITION FOR ADULT
ENTERTAINMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE

Councilman Vastola moved that Bill 787 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SUBSECTION A, USES
PERMITTED, IN SECTION 45-33, C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, OF ARTICLE III OF APPENDIX C-ZONING OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE TO ADD THE PERMITTED USE OF
ADULT ENTERTAINMENT ESTABLISHMENTS; PROVIDING FOR THE
REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE

PERMITTED, IN SECTION 45-34, C-2 GENERAL COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT, OF ARTICLE III OFAPPENDIX C-ZONING OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE TO PROHIBIT ADULT
ENTERTAINMENT ESTABLISHMENTS AS A PERMITTED USE;
PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN
