MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14, 1995

ROLL CALL
Mayor Valente called the Public Hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of Council
were present except Councilman Vastola, who was out of town. All members of staff
were present.
PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear comments from the Public concerning
Ordinance 35-95 (Bill 801), a proposed ordinance of the Village of North Palm Beach,
Florida, annexing to the Village certain areas of property; providing a legal description of
the property proposed to be annexed; redefining the boundaries of the Village to include
said property; calling for a referendum election within the area proposed to be annexed;
directing the Village Clerk to publish notice of the Referendum; and providing an effective
date.
COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC
Ed Moore, 2532 Conroy Drive, Lake Park, Florida, submitted letters from.40 residents of
the S. W. Neighborhood II annexation area. All letters were in support of, and urging
annexation.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further comments from the public, the meeting adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
