A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF
ONE 2017 MARKED FORD POLICE INTERCEPTOR SEDAN FROM
GARBER FORD INC. PURSUANT TO AN EXISTING STATE TERM
CONTRACT FOR MOTOR VEHICLES; DECLARING ONE VEHICLE AS
SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of one 2017 marked Ford
Interceptor sedan, equipped in accordance with Village specifications, from Garber Ford Inc.
pursuant to State Term Contract No. 25100000 -16 -1 (Motor Vehicles) Sub -Group A (Police /Marked
Pursuit Automobiles); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to designate one marked police patrol vehicle declared by
the Village's insurer as a total loss as surplus property and authorize its disposal; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of one 2017 marked Ford
Interceptor sedan, equipped in accordance with Village specifications, from Garber Ford
pursuant to State Term Contract No. 25100000 -16 -1 (Motor Vehicles) Sub -Group A (Police/Marked
Pursuit Automobiles). The total amount expended for this vehicle shall not exceed $29,683.00,
with funds expended from Account No. A5711 -66410 (Police — Automotive).
Section 3. The Village Council declares the following vehicle as surplus property and
authorizes its disposal in accordance with Village policies and procedures:
