The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear the comments of the
public concerning the proposed 1990-91 operating budget, including
the North Palm Beach Country Club.
There was no legal notice of this Public Hearing published. The
TRIM (Truth in Millage) bill stipulated that the Palm Beach County
Tax Assessor send out a Notice of Proposed Property Taxes to every
owner of real property in the County. Therefore, it was not
necessary for the Village to publish legal notice of this Public
Hearing in the newspaper.
The Mayor asked for comments from the public on the proposed
budget.
Marilyn Tiedemann, 716 Pelican Way, asked that the Council
appropriate money in the 1990-91 budget for a school crossing guard
at Alamanda and Prosperity Farms Road.
