Minutes of Public Hearing held Thursday, September 22, 1988

Mayor Mundt called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. All
members of the Council and the staff were present.
President Pro Tem Valente gave the invocation and Councilman Mark
led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the
Flag.

The Minutes of Library Advisory Board Meeeting held September 27,
1988 are being sent back for correction.
Vice Mayor Pierman moved that we accept the recommendation of the
Country Club Pdvisory Board as follows: that the Village Council
allow individuals to reserve a tee-time not more than 24 hours in
advance listing all members in the foursane, and only being
allowed to make thier next reserved time after having canpleted
play of the first. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gardner
and passed 4-1, with Councilman Gardner opposed.

regarding going back to a 35 hour workweek and an increase in the SEND BACK FOR
non resident 6-month membership fee fran $12.50 to $15.00, it was PROPER PROCEDURE
the consensus of the Council that the minutes be sent back for
proper procedure.
President Pro Tem Valente moved that Bill No. 552 entitled: BILL 552

FLORIDA, CERTIFYING THAT MONIES FROM THE EMS GRANT WILL
IMPROVE AND EXPAND PRE-HOSPITAL SERVICES IN THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH AND THAT THE GRANT MONIES WILL NOT BE USED

Councilman Gardner moved that Resolution No. 28-88 entitled: RES. 28-88

be adopted. The motion was seconded by Vice-Mayor Pierman and
passed unanimously.
Vice Mayor Pierman moved to authorize the Mayor and the Village EMPLOYMENT
Clerk to sign the Employment Agreement between the Village of AGREEMENT --
North Palm Beach and Carole Kalogeropoulos, Tennis Professional -- TENNIS PRO
at the North Palm Beach Country Club. The motion was seconded by
Councilman Marks and passed unanimously.
President Pro Tem Valente moved to transfer $15,692.00 from TRANSFER -
Account No. 41-572-621-49915 (Reserve COLA and Benefits) to CC EMPLOYEES
various accounts for Country Club employees' salary increases. SALARIES
The motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Pierman and passed
unanimously.
Councilman Gardner moved that we ask the Village Manager to place ACTIOD7 TO BE
ads and take any other action to find candidates to present to TAKEN RE VILLAGE
Council for his replacement. The motion was seconded by MANAGER'S
Councilman Marks and passed unanimously. REPLACEMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
