A. STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC, PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
Members of the public may address the Council concerning items on the Consent Agenda or any
non - agenda item under Statements from the Public. Time Limit: 3 minutes
Members of the public who wish to speak on any item listed on the Regular Session or Workshop Session
Agenda will be called on when the issue comes up for discussion. Time Limit: 3 minutes
Anyone wishing to speak should complete a Public Comment Card (on the table at back of Council Chambers)
and submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting.

1. PUBLIC HEARING AND MOTION — SPECIAL PERMIT FOR SIMILAR USE — MGA HEINE 1 LLC
Consider a motion to approve or deny the application for a Special Use Permit to allow the
additional retail uses of cellular sales and repairs, interior design, cabinet and /or lighting
store, vitamin shop, and /or tile store as a similar use within the CC Commercial
Transitional Zoning District, on property located at the southeast corner of Lorraine
Court and Alternate Al (MGA Heine 1 LLC, property owner).

2. 1ST READING OF ORDINANCE 2016 -07 — CODE AMENDMENT — PARKING AND
STORAGE OF BOATS, TRAILERS, AND RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT Consider a
motion to adopt on first reading Ordinance 2016 -07 amending Article III of Chapter 18 of the
Village Code of Ordinances to amend and clarify the regulations governing the parking and
storage of boats, trailers and recreational camping equipment in the R -1 and R -2 Zoning Districts.
ACTION
D. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro -forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

RESOLUTION — PROPERTY AND CASUALTY INSURANCE Consider a motion to adopt a
proposed resolution accepting the proposal of Public Risk Management of Florida to provide
property and casualty insurance and authorizing Village Administration to implement the
insurance policy as of October 1, 2016.

2. RESOLUTION — SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT CONTRACT Consider a motion to adopt a

3. RESOLUTION — AMENDMENT TO BUILDING DEPARTMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving an Amendment to the
agreement for services with Hy -Byrd, Inc. for Building Department and related services, and
authorizing execution of the Amendment.
