MINUTES OF REGULAR SESSION
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
THURSDAY, JULY 22, 1982
Present: Al Moore, Mayor

Absent: V. A. Marks, M.D., Councilman
Mayor Moore called the Regular Session to order at ROLL CALL
7:30 P.M. A11 members of the Council and staff were
present with the exception of Councilman Marks, who
was detained.
Councilman Valente gave the Invocation and Mayor'Moore INVOCATION &
led the Council and public in the Pledge of Allegiance PLEDGE OF
to the flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilman Valente, seconded by President APPROVAL OF
Pro Tem Nolan, all present voting aye, the Minutes o£ MINUTES
Regular Session held Thursday, July 8, 1982 were
approved as written.
Mayor Moore reminded Council, and made known to the
public present that Budget Meetings would continue
Monday July 26, 1982 at 7:15 P.M. in the Conference
Room of Village Hall.
On motion of-President Pro Tem Nolan, seconded by
Councilman Valente, all present voting aye, the
following Minutes were accepted as written:
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Recreation
Advisory Board held June 9, 1982 (.Corrected)
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Planning
Commission held July 6, 1982
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Code
Enforcement Board held July 12, 1982
The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Recreation
Advisory Board held July 13, 1982 were accepted as a
memorandum to Council due to the lack of a quorum at
that Board Meeting.

On motion of Vice Mayor Brown, seconded by Councilman RECOMMENDATION
Valente, all present voting aye, the recommendation of OF PLANNING

in the Village.

entitled
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN FOR THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING ACT OF 1975
(CHAPTER 163, FLORIDA STATUTES).

Mayor Brown, all present voting aye, Bill No. 390,
entitled
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, REZONING THE MacARTHUR BEACH STATE
RECREATION AREA LOCATED BETWEEN THE EAST SHORES
OF LAKE WORTH AND THE ATLANTIC OCEAN FROM ZONING
DISTRICT R-1 TO ZONING DISTRICT P-PUBLIC.

FROM ZONING DISTRICTS R-1 AND R-2 TO ZONING
DISTRICT P-PUBLIC

FISCAL YEAR 81-82.

TEXGAS CORPORATION FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH
COUNTRY CLUB IN THE AMOUNT OF $60.00, FROM
ACCOUNT N0. 63.1-572-62.11 BOND CONSTRUCTION
FUND (KITCHEN RENOVATIONS).

On motion of Vice Mayor Brown, seconded by Councilman RECESS OF
Valente, the Regular Session was recessed until 7:15 REGULAR SESSION
P.M, on July 26, 1982 at which time the Packer Truck
Emergency Repair will be discussed.
' The meeting was recessed at 8:00 p.m., to be resumed
at 7:15 P.M. on July 26, 1982 in the Conference Room
at Village Ha11.
