the bulletin board at the library and will be used as a kick-
off to our Jtme Celebration of 25th Arnliversary Week.

Vice Mayor Valente and all present voted aye.

On motion of Councilwoman Nolan, seconded by Councilman BILL 382 PLACID
Moore, all present voting aye, Bi11 No. 382 was placed on ON 2ND READING
second reading and read by title alone.
Councilwoman Nolan moved that Bi11 No. 382 be adopted as Ord- MOTION ~ ADOPT
inanra No. 6-81. The motion was seconded by Councilman Moore. BILL 382 AS ORD.

Vice Mayor Valente moved to amend Bi11 No. 382 as follows: BILL 382 AMEA~tIDED
Under Section 5, Penalties, that the first violation be a warning;
the second violation be a $25 penalty; the third violation be a
' $50 penalty; and the fourth and subsequent violations be a mis-
demeanor as authorized by the Village Code. The motion was
seconded by Councilman Moore and all present voted aye.
Councilman Moore moved to amend Bill No. 382 as follows: That BILL 382 AMErIDID
in Section 3B (1) the hotms for sprinkling, watering or irrigating
of shrubbery, trees, lawns, grass, ground covers, plants, vines
and gardens be changed from 5-9 a.m, to 6:30-9:30 p.m. The
motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Valente and passed 3-l, with
Councilwoman Nolan opposed.

FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE BID OF K & M ELECTRIC C~ANY,
LAKE PARK, FLORIDA, FOR EIGHT (8) ADDITIONAL SPORTS LIGHTING
FIXTURES IN THE Al~UNT OF $2,768.00 FR~1 ACCOUNT N0. 623-572-63.10

Councilman Moore moved not to accept the recoamendation (to approve NATION DIID FOR
the transfer of $1,700 from Account No. 11.4-572-11.20, Regular LACK OF A SECOND
Pay - Driving-Range) to Account No. 31.1-572-11.30 (Other Salaries
Administrative). The motion died for lack of a second.
Vice Mayor Valente iroved, but noted that it was for discussion
only, that we approve the transfer of $1,700 from Account No.
11.4-572-11.20 (Regular Pay - Driving Range) to Accotnt No.
31.1-572-11.30 (Other Salaries Administrative). The motion
was seconded by Councilwoman. Nolan for discussion and failed
0-4.
Councilmaan Moore moved that we approve the payment of $1,945.00
(to Air Vent Systems, Inc. for steam clean;n~ the kitchen at
the North Palm Beach Country Club) to be expended Pram Account
No. 31.1-572-46.25 (R & M Vandalism). The motion was seconded
by Vice Mayor Valente and all present voted aye.

the meeting was adjourned at 8:55 p.m.
