Mayor Marks called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p.m. ROLL CALL

President Pro Tem Brown gave the invocation and Councilwoman INVOCATION &
Nolan led the Gotmcil and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance PLEDGE OF

Councilman Moore moved that we reject the recomsendation of NPBCC AD. BD.

motion was seconded by Councilwoman Nolan and all present

was read in fu11 and adopted as read as Resolution No. 48-81.
Councilwroman Nolan uroved that we ratify, and authorize the
Mayor to sign, the contract between the Palm Beach County
Benevolent Association and the Village of North Palm Beach
Public Safety Depari-mant. The motion was seconded by Pres-
ident Pro Tem Brown and passed 3-2, with Vice Mayor Valente
and Councilman. Moore opposed.
President Pro Tem Brown moved that we reject all bids on the
Delacorte Co~tmity Center, and authorize the revision of the
specifications and the rebidding of the building. The motion
was seconded by Vice Mayor Valente and all present voted aye.
Councilmen Moore moved that we authorize the purchase of a
new ceiling paddle fan for the Library Director's office in
the amount of $150.00, to be expended from Account No. 61-
519-99.11 (Council Contingency). The motion was seconded
by Councilwoman Nolan and all present voted aye.
There being no fiirther business to come before the Council,
the meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
