Mayor Marks called the Regular Session to order at 7:30 p,m.
A11 members of the Council were present.
Mayor Marks gave the invocation and Councilwoman Nolan led
the~Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to
the Flag.
The Minutes of the Public Hearing on proposed usage of
1980-81 Federal Revenue Sharing Entitl~gzt Ftmds held
Thursday, August 28, 1980 stand as prepared.
The Minutes of Regular Session held Thursday, August 28,
1980 stand as prepared.
Councilwoman Nolan moved that we move Item 6 (h) (North
Palm Beach Library) from the workshop session agenda
to Item 9 (a) under Village Manager`s Report as new
business on the regular session agenda. The motion
was seconded by President Pro Tem Valente and all
present voted aye.
Mayor Marks left the meeting at 7:54 p.m, and passed the
gavel to Vice Mayor Moore. He returned to the meeting at
7:58 p,m„ at which time Vice Mayor Moore returned the
gavel to him..
The Minutes of Regular Meeting of Planning Commission held
September 2, 1980 stand as prepared.
The Minutes of Regular Meeting of Library Advisory Board
held August 26, 1980 stand as prepared.
Councilwoman Nolan nerved that we accept the recommendation
of the Planning Commission that Section 6-119, Unlawful Signs,
of Ordinance 10-80 be amended to read: "Section 6-119 (b) 4,
Changeable copy panels. (Exception: Sign for public, charit-
able, religious institutions and all changeable copy panels
permitted and in existence prior to May 22, 1980.) The
motion was seconded by President Pro Tem Valente and all
present voted aye.
Councilman Brown moved that the Village Manager investigate
allegations of morale problems amongst the library personnel
from 1970 until the time Mrs. Zaborski resigned and report
back to Council. Mayor Marks passed the gavel to Vice
Mayor and seconded the motion for discussion only. The
motion passed 3-2, with Mayor Marks and Councilwoman Nolan
opposed.

Vice Mayor Moore moved that we reject Resolution No, 44-80

' RIVER) CANAL BASIN
The motion was seconded by Councilman Brown and all present
voted aye.
Councilman Brown moved that we authorize the Village
Manager to seek bids for the purchase of a two-door
reach-in freezer for the Country Club. The approximate
amount to be expended from R.O.F, will be $2,200. The
motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Moore and all present
voted aye.

Councilman Brown mmved that we authorize the Village Manager
to accept proposals for a new chlorinator for the Country
Club pool. The approximate arsnvnt to be spent from R.O.F.
will be $1,400.00. The motion was seconded by President
Pro T~ Valente and all present voted aye.

Pascal Panza as Business Administrator of the North Palm BUSINESS ADMIN-
Beach Country Club. The motion was seconded by President ISTRATOR AT NPBCC
Pro Tem Valente. and passed 3-2, with President Pro Tem CONFIRMED
Valente and Councilwoman Nolan opposed.
