A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
CONTRACT FOR MASTER PLANNING SERVICES WITH PEACOCK + LEWIS
ARCHITECTS AND PLANNERS, LLC AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND VILLAGE CLERK TO EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF
THE VILLAGE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution No. 2015 -59, the Village Council approved a
contract with Peacock + Lewis for Master Planning Services for the North Palm Beach Country Club
( "Contract "); and
WHEREAS, the Contract was for a term of six months and the parties wish to amend the
Contract to extend the term for an additional six months; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the approval of an Amendment to the Contract
is in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and are incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves an Amendment to the Contract for
Master Planning Services with Peacock + Lewis Architects and Planners, LLC, a copy of which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and authorizes and directs the Mayor and
Village Clerk to execute the Amendment on behalf of the Village.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT
This Amendment is made as of the /Oj day of March, 2016, by and between the
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, a municipal corporation organized and existing under
the laws of the State of Florida, hereinafter referred to as the VILLAGE, and PEACOCK +
LEWIS ARCHITECTS AND PLANNERS, LLC, a Florida limited liability company, hereinafter
referred to as the CONTRACTOR.
WHEREAS, the VILLAGE and CONTRACTOR entered into a Contract dated
September 24, 2015 ( "Contract "), whereby CONTRACTOR agreed to provide Master Planning
Services to the VILLAGE for the North Palm Beach Country Club in accordance with the terms
of CONTRACTOR's Proposal; and
WHEREAS, the term of the Contract was for a period of six months from execution
unless extended by mutual written agreement of the parties; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to extend the term of the Contract for an additional six
month period.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth in the Contract
and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby
acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are fully incorporated herein
by reference.
2. Section 2.A of the of the Contract is hereby amended to extend the term for an
additional six (6) month period through September 24, 2016, unless earlier terminated as
provided therein. No increase in compensation is associated.with this extension.
3. All other provisions of the Contract, to the extent not expressly modified
herein, shall remain in full force and effect. In the event of a conflict between the terms of the
Contract and this Amendment, the terms of this Amendment shall control.
