Mayor Love called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:00 ROLL CALL
p.m. All members of the Council were present.
Rev. G. Kerry Robb, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, gave INVOCATION
the invocation and Councilman McIntyre led the Council & PLEDGE OF
and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilman Marks, seconded by Vice Mayor APPROVAL OF
Heraty, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular MINUTES
Meeting held Thursday, May 8, 1975 were approved as
written.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman ACCEPTANCE OF
Greeley, all present voting aye, the Minutes of Community MINUTES
Appearance Board Meeting held Tu esday, May 6, 1975 were
' accepted by the Council.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman BILL 221
Greeley, all present voting aye, Bill No. 221 entitled: PLACED ON
2ND READING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 4 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH CODE BY REMOVING THE WORD 'KNOWINGLY"
FROM SECTION 4-21 THEREOF
was placed on second reading and read by title alone.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman BILL 221
Marks, all present voting aye, Bill No. 221 was adopted ADOPTED AS
as Ordinance No. 3-75. ORD. 3-75
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman BILL 222
McIntyre, all present voting aye, Bill No. 222 entitled: PLACED ON
2ND READING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, REPEALING THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE
NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB AND CREATING A COUNTRY
CLUB ADVISORY BOARD, SETTING FORTH THE DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE ADVISORY BOARD,
' THE COMPOSITION, TERM OF OFFICE, MEETINGS AND FUNCTIONS
was placed on second reading and read by title alone.
Vice Mayor Heraty moved to adopt Bill No. 222 as MOTION TO
Ordinance No. 4-75. The motion was seconded by Council- ADOPT BILL
man Greeley. 222 AS ORD.

Vice Mayor Heraty moved to amend Bill No. 222 as follows: MOTION DIED
That the Board be comprised of seven members, four of FOR LACK OF
which are to be golf or full club members. The motion A SECOND
died for lack of a second.

Councilman Greeley moved to amend Bill No. 222 as follows: BILL 222
That the Board be comprised of seven members, membership AMENDED
in the Club-not required.- The motion was seconded by
Councilman Marks and all present voted aye.
' Thereafter Council voted on the main motion which passed BILL 222
unanimously. Therefore, Bill No. 222 was adopted as ADOPTED AS
amended as Ordinance No. 4-75. AMENDED AS

On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Vice Mayor BILL 225
Heraty, all present voting aye, Bill No. 225 entitled: PLACED ON
1ST READING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH THE PLANNED USE OF FUNDS RE-
CEIVED UNDER THE STATE AND LOCAL FISCAL ASSISTANCE
ACT OF 1972, INCLUDING AN ESTIMATE OF INCOME TO BE
RECEIVED AND THE SPECIFIC AMOUNTS AND PURPOSES FOR
WHICH THE VILLAGE INTENDS TO SPEND THE FUNDS WHICH
IT EXPECTS TO RECEIVE FOR THE SIXTH ENTITLEMENT
PERIOD ENDING JUNE 30, 1976
was placed on first reading and read by title alone.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman RES. 32-75
Marks, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. ADOPTED
32-75 entitled:
' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, URGING THE FLORIDA STATE LEGISLATURE
TO PASS LEGISLATION CREATING A F1VE-MEMBER PUBLIC
SERVICE COMMISSION
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No.
32-75.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman HOIST AT
Greeley, all present voting aye, that we expend the MARINA TO
amount of $2,000.00 to repair the hoist at the Village BE_REPAIRED
Marina, the funds to be expended from Account No.
OS-500.
On motion of Councilman Marks, seconded by Councilman
McIntyre, all present voting aye, that based on the
proposal submitted by Flamingo Electronics, the Village
Manager be authorized to expend approximately $400.00
from Account No. OS-500 for cassette recording equip-
ment.
