Vice Mayor Love called the Regular Meeting to order at ROLL CALL
8:00 p.m. All members of the Council were present.
Vice Mayor Love gave the invocation and Councilman INVOCATION &
Heraty led the Council and the public in the Pledge of PLEDGE OF
Allegiance to the Flag. - _ ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilman-Heraty, seconded by Councilman APPROVAL OF
Greeley, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular MINUTES
Meeting held Thursday, March 13, 1975; and the Minutes
of Special Meeting held Wednesday, March 19, 1975 were
approved as written.
The organization of the Council_is required by Village COUNCIL
Charter to be done at the next regular meeting of the ORGANIZATION
Council following the election of any Councilman. There-
fore, Council proceeded witli its organizattion in accordance
with Article III, Seetion 6; of the Village Charter.
On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Councilman
McIntyre - 4 to 1, with Councilman Heraty opposed -
M. C. Love, Jr. was nominated for the office of Mayor
of the Village of North Palm Beach.
On motion of Councilman Marks, seconded by Councilman
Greeley, all present voting aye, Ronald L. Heraty was
nominated for the office of Vice Mayor of the Village
of North Palm Beach.
On motion of Counciliiman Heraty, seconded by Councilman
McIntyre, all present voting aye, Councilman V. A. Marks
was nominated for'the office of President Pro Tern of the
Village of North Palm Beach.
Council then instructed the Clerk to place the names of
M. C. Love, Jr as Mayor; Ronald L. Heraty as Vice Mayor;
and V. A. Marks as President Pro Tem on proposed Resolu-
tion No. 16-75.
On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Councilman
McIntyre - 4 to 1, with Councilman Heraty opposed -
proposed Resolution No. 16-75 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING CERTAIN OFFICERS FOR
SUCH VILLAGE

The Clerk then administered the Oath of Office to Mayor OATHS OF

Pro Tem V. A. Marks. These oaths shall be spread upon the ADMINISTERED
minutes of the Council.
' Gn motion of Councilman-Greeley, seconded by Councilman ACCEPTANCE
Marks, all present voting aye, the following minutes OF MINUTES
were accepted by the Council:

On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman RULES OF NPB

On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman TENNIS PRO
McIntyre, all present voting aye, that we approve the TO BE TERMIN-
recommendation of the Tennis Advisory Board and terminate ATED 6/1/75
the Tennis Pro as of June 1, 1975.
' Councilman Greeley made a statement for the record that
he felt the Council should take it easy and wait to draw COUNCILMAN

an ordinance on the new Country Club Advisory Board. STATEMENT

On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Council- ORD. FOR NEW
man McIntyre - 4 to 1, with Councilman Greeley opposed - CC AD. BD.
that we authorize the Village Attorney to draw up an
ordinance_to formulate a new Country Club Advisory Board.
There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Council, on motion of Councilman Marks, seconded by
Councilman Greeley, all present voting aye, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
