Mayor Love called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:03 ROLL CALL
p.m. All members of the Council were present.
Rev. James A. Hilton, Pastor, Tropical Sands Christian INVOCATION &
Church, gave the invocation and Councilman Marks led PLEDGE OF
the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance ALLEGIANCE
to the Flag.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman APPROVAL OF
McIntyre, all present voting aye, the minutes of Special MINUTES
Meeting held Tuesday, March 25, 1975; and the minutes of
Regular Meeting held Thursday, March 27, 1975 were approved
as written.
On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Vice Mayor
Heraty, all present voting aye, the following minutes
were accepted by the Council:
Minutes of North Palm Beach Library Board meeting
held March 20, 1975
Minutes of Beautification Committee meeting held
March 25, 1975
Minutes of North Palm Beach Tennis Advisory Board
meeting held March 26, 1975
Minutes of Corrununity Appearance Board meeting held
April 1, 1975
Minutes of Special Meeting of North Palm Beach
Country Club Board of Governors held April 2, 1975
On motion of Councilman McIntyre, seconded by Council-
man Marks, all present voting aye, that we enter into
this Interlocal Agreement with Palm Beach County.
On motion of Councilman Marks, seconded by Councilman
McIntyre, all present voting aye, that the Mayor of
the Village of_North Palm Beach send a letter support-
ing the demonstration project of deep current assimi-
lation of sewage effluent.
On motion of Vice Mayor .Heraty, seconded by Councilman
Marks, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No.
17-75 entitled:

COMhYISSION TO RECONSIDER RECENT ELECTRIC POWER RATE

On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman LIBRARY BD.
Marks, all present voting aye, that we approve the RECOMMENDATION
recommendation of the Library Board that they be con- APPROVED
sulted in future meeting with Mr. R. Arsenicos, Architect,
on plans for the basement expansion.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman HOIST AT MARINA
Greeley, all present voting aye, that the hoist at the TO BB CLOSED
marina be closed for use and that money be refunded for
the full year.
Bill No. 219 was advertised in the Palm Beach Post-Times
on March 19, 1975.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman -BILL 219
Marks, all present voting aye, Bill No. 219 entitled: PLACED ON
2ND READING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY CREATING THE DEPARTMENT
' OF COUNTRY CLUB ACTIVITIES AS PART OF THE ADMINIS-
TRATIVE SERVICE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
SETTING FORTH THE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE
COUNTRY CLUB DIRECTOR; AMENDING CHAPTER 10.5 OF THE

FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 41 OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY AMENDING LANDSCAPING
REQUIREMENTS SO THAT IN INSTANCES WHERE ONE TREE
IS REQUIRED FOR A CERTAIN NUMBER OF LINEAL FEET,
TIC LOCATION OF SAID TREES MAY BE ANYWI~IERE WITHIN

Marks, all present voting aye, that Bill No.-221 entitled:

NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY REMOVING THE WORD

On motion of Councilman McIntyre, seconded by Vice
Mayor Heraty, all present voting_aye, Bill No. 222
entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VSS,LAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, REPEALING THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE
NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB AND CREATING A
COUNTRY CLUB ADVISORY BOARD, SETTING FORTH THE
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MEMBERS OF THE
ADVISORY BOARD, THE COMPOSITION, TERM OF OFFICE,
MEETINGS AND FUNCTIONS
was placed on first reading and read by title alone.
Councilman McIntyre moved that Resolution No. 18-75
be tabled until the Council can workshop it. The
motion died for lack of a second.
On motion of Councilman Marks, seconded by Councilman
Greeley - 4 to 1, with Councilman McIntyre opposed -
proposed Resolution No. 18-75 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING AND REAPPOINTING
CERTAIN VILLAGE OFFICERS
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution
No. 18-75.
Councilman McIntyre moved that the Council workshop
the administrative responsibilities and duties. The
motion died for lack of a second.
On motion of Vice Mayor Heraty, seconded by Councilman
Marks, all present voting aye, that we adopt a Resolu-
tion and send it to Congressman Paul Rogers, Congress-
man Skip Bafalis, Senator Lawton Chiles and Senator
Richard Stone, asking for support to look into the
investigation of abuses in the Condominium Act.
On motion of Counci_l.man McIntyre, seconded by Council-
man Marks, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution
No. 19-75 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SEEKING BETTER COMMITNICATIONS
WITH THE PALM BEACH COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
AND RECOMMENDING MEETINGS WITH SAID BOARD AND
THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF-NORTH PALM BEACH, AS WELL
AS NEIGHBORING MUNICIPALITIES
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No.
19-75.
