11-21-1974 VC REG-M MINUTES OF RECESSED REGULAR MEETING OF NOVEMBER 14, 1974 OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA RECONVENED THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1974 ' Present: Walter N. Colbath, Jr., Mayor M. C. Love, Jr., Vice Mayor William A: Greeley, Councilman Ronald L.'Heraty, Councilman Robert F. 'Slater, Councilman Herbert L: Gildan, Village Attorney Lawrence J. Robbins, Village Manager, Acting as Deputy Village Clerk Mayor Colbath reconvened the Re lar Meetin of Thursda Su g _-y, ROLL CALL November 14, 1974 at 8:00 p.m. All members of the Council were present. Vice Mayor Love gave the invocation and Councilman Slater INVOCATION led the Council and the public in the Pledge o£ Allegiance & PLEDGE OF to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by Vice Mayor BILL 217 Love, all present voting aye, Bill No. 217 :entitled: _ PLACED ON 1ST READING AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE, IT BEING THE SIGN CODE OF THE VILLAGE, BY EXTENDING THE TIME FOR RE- MOVAL OF NON-CONFORMING SIGNS IN THE C=A ZONING DISTRICT was placed on first reading and read in full. On motion of Councilman-Greeley, seconded by Councilman RES. 76-74 Heraty, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. ADOPTED 76-74 entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF'NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING THE EXPANSIbN OF-THE _ PALM BEACH GARDENS COMMUNITY HOSPITAL FR~I 105 BEDS TO 240 BEDS, TOGETHER WITH THE ADDITION OF EMERGENCY ROOM FACILITIES was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 76-74. On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded b-y Councilman VILLAGE MGR. Heraty - 4 to 1, with Vice Mayor Love opposed - that the AUTHORIZED Council authorize the Village Manager to prepare a grant T0_PREPARE application for the Emergency Medical Rescue Unit, and GRANT APPLICA- that bidding of equipment and employment of ',personnel TION FOR EMER- shall require additional Council approval.
