Mayor Colbath called the Regular Meeting tq order at ROLL CALL
8:04 p.m. All members of-the Council were ;present.
Vice Mayor Love gave the invocation and Councilman INVOCATION
Heraty led the Council and the public in the Pledge & PLEDGE OF
of Allegiance to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by Councilman APPROVAL OF
Greeley, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular MINUTES
Meeting held Thursday, April 25, 1974 were approved
as written.
Mayor Colbath signed a Proclamation concerning Healthy PROCLAMATION -
Baby Week, which is the week o£ May 12 through May 18. HEALTHY BABY
' Healthy Baby Week is sponsored by the Junior Woman~s WEEK
Club of the North Palm Beaches.
Mayor Colbath, on behalf of the Village Council, pre- PRESENTATION
sented plaques to former Mayor H. Mallory Privett, Jr., OF PLAQUES
former Vice Mayor Ronald B. Cadby, and former Councilman
Robert W. Martin in recognition o£ their commmiity ser-
vice while serving on the Village Council.
On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Vice Mayor BILL 203
Love, all present voting aye, Bill No_ 203 entitled: PLACED ON
1ST READING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF:NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF ;THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY PROHIBITING PAINTED
WALL SIGNS IN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
was placed on first reading and read in full.
On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Councilman RES. 32-74
Heraty, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. ADOPTED
32-74 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, INDICATING INTENT TO JOYN WITH
OTHER GENERAL PURPOSE UNITS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT
IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AREA TO ,DEVELOP
AND IMPLEMENT A PLAN RESULTING IN A COORDINATED
WASTE TREATMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR THE AREA
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution
No. 32-74.

On motion of Vice Mayor Love, seconded by Councilman ITEMS 11 (a)
Greeley, all present voting aye, that Items 11 (a) THROUGH ,11 (g)
through 11 (g) on the agenda be tabled until Council's TABLED UNTIL
workshop meeting of May 16, 1974. 5/16/74 WORKSHOP
On motion of Councilman Slater, seconded bye Councilman 75% OF NPBCC
Greeley, all present voting aye, that seventy-five SURPLUS ALLOCATED
percent of the operating surplus of the North Palm TO R.O.F.
Beach Country Club be allocated to the Reserve
Operation Fund.
There being no further business to come before the A-JOURNMENT
Council, on motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by
Councilman-Slater, all present voting aye, the meeting
was adjourned at 9:33 p,m.
