Mayor Colbath called the Regular Meeting to order at ROLL CALL
8:09 p.m. A11 members of the Council were present.
Councilman Greeley gave the invocation_ and Councilman INVOCATION &
Heraty led the Council and the public in the Pledge of PLEDGE OF
Allegiance to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by Councilman APPROVAL OF
Greeley, all present voting aye, the Minutes of Regular MINUTES
Meeting held Thursday, November 14, 1974; and. the Min-
utes of Recessed Regular Meeting of November 14, 1974
Reconvened Thursday, November 21, 1974 were approved
as written.
' On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by Councilman ACCEPTANCE
Greeley, all present voting aye, the following minutes OF MINUTES

NORTH PALM BEACH, WHICH LAND LIES DIRECTLY EAST
OF THE BENCH MARK BUILDING ON U. S. HIGHWAY N0.
1 IN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, TO ZONING
DISTRICT C-A, AND PLACING A PARCEL OF LAND ADJACENT
THERETO AND DUE EAST OF THE FIRST PARCEL IN ZONING
DISTRICT R-1
was placed on second reading and read by title only.
Vice-Mayor Love moved that Bi11 No. 215 be adopted as
Ordinance No. 20-74. The motion was seconded by
Councilman Heraty.
Vice Mayor Love moved to amend Bill No. 215 as follows:
In Section 1, change the number behind the word
Survey to read 74552; and in Section 2, add
the number 7LF557 behind the word Survey.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Heraty, and all
present voted aye.
Vice Mayor Love moved that we-table Bill No. 215 until
legal ownership has been determined. The motion died
for lack of a second.
Vice Mayor Love moved that we table Bill No. 215 until
we can get a letter .from Mr. Taylor defining what he
means by clearing and. dredging the west end of the
canal. The motion died for lack of a second.
Councilman Heraty moved to call the question. The
motion was seconded by Councilman Greeley and passed
4 to 1, with Vice Mayor. Love opposed.
Thereafter, Council voted on the main motion which
passed 3 to 2, with Mayor Colbath and Vice Mayor
Love opposed. Therefore, Bill.-No. 215 was adopted
as amended as Ordinance. No. 20-74.
Vice Mayor Love made the following 'statement for the
record:
"I am opposed to Bill No. 215 because I do not
' feel that we can determine the best use of the
subject property until we know who the owner is."
Mayor Colbath made the following statement for the
record:
"I feel that Bill No. 215 could have been post-
poned for a week or two because of certain
things that were undefined."

Greeley, all present voting aye, Bill No. 216 was ADOPTED AS
adopted as Ordinance No. 21-74. ORD. 21-74
Councilman Greeley moved that Bill No. 217 entitled: MOTION TO

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, ON 2ND READ-
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE VILLAGE OF ING DIED FOR
