VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA-
HELD

Mayor Colbath called the Regular Meeting to, order at 8:05 ROL7, CALL
p.m. All members of tli_e_~~auncil were present except
Councilman Greeley. - ~ _
Vice Mayor .Love gave_the invocation, and Councilman Heraty INVOCATION
led the Council and the public in the Pledge 'of Allegiance & PLEDGE OF
to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by, Vice Mayor APPROVAL OF
Love, all. present voting aye, the minutes of Regular MINUTES- __
Meeting held Thursday, August 8, 1974 were .approved as
written.
Mr. George Wolf, 112 Atlantic Road, spoke in behalf o£ a
delegation of parents of students o£ the Yacht Club Addition
of the Village-who will be attending Suncoast High School
this coming school year. The parents were objecting to
the Palm Beach County School Board?s decision not to
provide neighborhood bus service for these students,-
which would necessitate their walking from one-half mile
to two miles over hazardous routes.

Mr. and Mrs. David Setnor, 549 Overlook Drive, stated
that this same situation existed in their area with re-
gard to the students who will be attending Palm Beach
Gardens High School this coming year.

The Council advised the parents that they would contact
School Superintendent Dr. Joseph Carroll and the school
board to see if the issue can be solved.
On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by~Vice Mayor
Love, all present voting aye, the minutes of the Community
Appearance Board meeting held August 6, 1974 were accepted
by the Council.
Bill No. 210 was advertised in the WeekDay Newspaper on
August 1, 1974.
On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by ;Councilman
Slater, all present voting aye,. Bill No. 21Q entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH CODS BY INCREASING THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF
RESIDENTIAL LOTS FROM 75 FEET TO 85 FEET AND THE
MINIMUM LOT AREA FROM 7,500 SQUARE FEET TO 10,500
SQUARE FEET, AND BY INCREASING THE MINIMUM LOT AREA
FOR CORNER RESIDENTLAL LOTS PROM 9,000~SQUARE FEET
TO 13,00.0 SQUARE FEET ;

Slater, all present voting aye, Bill No. 2T1 was adopted
as Ordinance No. 13-7~F.
