ORD. 5-74 On motion of Councilman Slater, seconded byl,Councilman .AUTHORIZATION Greeley, all present voting aye, that we authorize the TO START DESIGN Village Manager and whoever is involved to ;start the OF FOOT BRIDGE design of the foot bridge over the Earman River project OVER EARMAN so that we may bring it to fruition. RIVER PROJECT Minutes of Regular Meeting Held Thursday, April 11, 1974 Page 2 Councilman Heraty moved that Bill No. 200 entitled: AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, ' FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 16 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE, IT BEING THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE, BY PROHIBITING THE USE OF BARBECUE GRILLS AND SIMILAR COOKING UTENSILS ON BALCONIES,'ITERRACES OR PORCHES OF MULTI-STORY BUILDINGS be placed on first reading and read in full. The motion was seconded by Councilman Greeley. Councilman Heraty moved that Bill No. 200 be tabled. The motion was seconded by Councilman Greeley and all present voted aye. On motion of Vice Mayor Love, seconded by Councilman Heraty, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 14-74 entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL 0FiN0RTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO APPLY TO THE CIVIL DEFENSE OFFICE FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE TO PURCHASE ELECTRONIC WARNING DEVICES I was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 14-7~F. On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Councilman Heraty, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 15-74 entitled: ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF'~NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH THOSE PERSONS WHO SHALL SIGN AND COUNTERSIGN CHECKS ON ALL DEPbSITORIES OF FUNDS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 15-7~F. On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by'~Councilman Greeley, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 16-74 entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF; NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE DESIGN AND LOCATION OF THE ANDREW G. FORD MEMORIAL AT LAKESIDE PARK was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 16-74. ' On motion of Councilman Heraty, seconded by'Councilman Greeley, all present voting aye, that the Village Treasurer be authorized to transfer $5,460 from Country Club Account No_ 10-100, and $18,20'0 from Village Account No_ 06-100 to the general payroll accounts for the purpose of implementing a dive percent cost of living increase for employees of the Village and Country Club, effective the; payroll period beginning Wednesday, April 17, 1974.. MOTION TO PLACE BILL 200 ON 1ST READING BILL 200 TABLED RES. 14-74 ADOPTED RES. 15-74 ADOPTED RES: 16-74 ADOPTED AUTHORIZATION FOR 5°/a COST OF LIVING INCREASE FOR EMPLOYEES OF VILLAGE & COUNTRY CLUB [~ Minutes of Regular Meeting Held Thursday, April 11, 1974 Page 3 On motion of Councilman Greeley, seconded by Vice Mayor Love, all present voting aye, that the Village Treasurer be authorized to expend out of Account No. OS-500 the sum of $975.00 for the obligation of fire hydrant rentals for the year 1972.
