Palm, Beach, Florida, retired farmer f�irector of the North Ralrn
Reach Pudic Library+, �vassed away Thursday in her home with
her daughter her side. She was predeceased by her husband
of 51 yearsr Alvin C. lUloCre, a former Counclimember and May-
or afNorth PalrRr lea €h, here wo sons, Charlie and Mike. and her
sister Peg y Latoy, Nancy is survived by her devoted dau�ghter,
Lisa (Brian Joslyrn; grandchildren John (Jennifer) Byrn, Mlchaer,
Joslyn, Jessica Moore and Kristen LeMaster; great- grandcha-
Bran Abbi�gair, Err4, Jack and Kayden; and sisters Julia Anne
Young and Christine Marett alone with innumerable nieces
nephews an•d their children. A true daughter of the Sourthr Nan-' kept a life -long connection to her birthplace, Anderson, SC.
wShe was a proud member of the OAR and €ouid trace her fami-
y back to a distant cousin of Geor a Washinq_ton. S�eve�ral more
recent"" forebears served in South Carolinas re imerrts in the
War Between the States. Nancy�s connection to Florida began
in 1957 when Pratt Whitney transferred A to Florida to assist
in the opening of its new facility and they ,moved to the area,
Other than her farnllyr Nanq€(s proudest achievement was her
work at and for the North Palm Beach Public Library. When she
began as a volunteer In 1952, it vvas little more than a donation
Library. Over the AM 42 years, she rose to be its Director and

rved in that position for many years. In 2006, Nancy's Ica-

her Her impeccable manners and easy Southern charm made
friends of all Who made her acquaintance, hundreds of whom
showed up to the celebration in her honor. Nancy and IAJ (with
family and without) were inveterate travelers. Together they
saw 49 states (Michigan the Meption), most of the Natlonal
Parks and a number of foreign cou;ntrie5. In f 999" AI and Nancy
traveled to (Normandy Where Ai had nerved in the Navy on 0-
Day. She saw the Pyramids before she passed- She Dived Wheel
of Fortune and Jeopardy. She loved and treasured her friends
who are too numerous to mention, Gene and Maryanne Faster
and Frances Warrviekr excepting, She was an amazing mother,
fantastic in- lawn awesome grandmother, caring great- grand -
mother and loving sister. She lived, despite the tragedy in her
life" with a smile on her face and a sang in her heart. She wa5
a yentre soul who always had a kind word. There wiir be a
