Mayor Privett called the Regular Meeting to order at
8:03 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call-the roll, all
members being present.
Mayor Privett gave the invocation and Councilman
Slater led the Council and the public in the Pledge
of Allegiance to the Flag.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular
Meeting held Thursday, April 27, 1972 were approved
as written.
On motion of Vice Mayor_Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Rhodes, all present voting aye, the minutes of Board of
' Governors meeting held February 16, 1972; the minutes
of Board of Governors meeting held April 19, 1972;
the minutes of Special Meeting of Board of Governors
held May 3, 1972; the minutes of Corrununity Appearance
Board meeting held April 25, 1972; the minutes of
Beautification Committee meeting held April 26, 1972;
and the minutes of Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting
held May 3, 1972 were accepted.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, that we accept with
regret the resignation of Robert L_ Geraghty from the
Country Club Board of Governors.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, Bill No. 155 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE NORTH PALM
BEACH CODE, IT BEING THE CONYPREHENSIVE ZONING
CODE, BY AMENDING THE NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES
REQUIRED FOR RESTAURANTS IN C-A, C-lA, C-1
AND C-2 ZONES, TO PROVIDE FOR ONE SPACE FOR EACH
75 SQUARE FEET OF AREA DEVOTED TO PATRON USE OR
' ONE SPACE PER THREE FIXED SEATS, WHICHEVER IS

On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman BID FOR IRRIGATION
Martin, all present voting aye, that the Village WATER PIPELINES &
accept the bid of Big 4 Construction Company for PUMP STATION AWARD-
installation of irrigation water pipelines and pump ED TO BIG 4 CON-
station per the unit prices set forth in the, bid, with STRUCTION CO.
the proviso that the project be completed within 130
days from signing of the contract. Further,'that notice
to proceed not be given until the bond proceeds are de-
posited to the Village bank account,-and that a sum not
to exceed $95,000.00 be appropriated for this phase of
the project.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman BID FOR IRRIGATION
Martin, all present voting aye, that bid for irrigation EQUIP. AT NPBCC
equipment at the North Palm Beach Country Club be awarded AWARDED TO NATION-
to National Irrigation Company, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; AL IRRIGATION CO.
in its entirety for the unit prices as listed for each
item on the proposal sheet in the bid documents, in an
amount not to exceed $29,000.00, and that the bid award
be contingent upon the bond proceeds being deposited
to the Village bank account.
On motion of Councilman Martin, seconded by Vice Mayor PAVING BID
Cadby, all present voting aye, that the resurfacing of AWARDED TO RUBIN
