Mayor Privett called the Regular Meeting to order at
8:05 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all
members being present.
Councilman Rhodes gave the invocation, and Councilman
Martin led the Council and the public in the Pledge of
Allegiance to the Flag.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Rhodes, all present voting aye, the minutes of .Public
Hearing on Bill No. 162 held Thursday, August 10, 1972
were approved as written.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular
Meeting held Thursday, August 10, 1972 were .approved
as written.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, the financial statements
for the Village and for the North Palm Beach Country
Club for the period ending July 31, 1972 were accepted.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Rhodes, all present voting aye, Bill No. 161 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH CODE, IT BEING THE ZONING CODE, BY
PROHIBITING THE LOCATION OF RESTAURANTS WITHIN 650
FEET OF ANOTHER RESTAURANT IN THE VILLAGE
was tabled.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, Bill. No. 163 entitled:

Rhodes, all present voting aye, that the Mayor be authorized
to sign that we agree with the proposed tax distribution
schedule in accordance with the letter from Mr. Walter H.
Bahneman, County Tax Collector, dated July 31, 1972.
There being no further business to come before the
Council, on motion o£ Councilman Rhodes, seconded by
Vice Mayor Cadby, all present voting aye, the meeting
was adjourned at 10:45 p.m.
