Mayor Lewis called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
and asked the Village Clerk to call the roll ,, all members
being present.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt,
all present voting aye, the minutes of Regula Meeting
held Thursday, February 27, 1969 were approve as written.
Mayor Lewis read letter from Mr. E. D. Gaynor:, Chairman,
Board of County Commissioners, dated March 6 1969,
congratulating the Village on receiving a Distinguished
Achievement Award for outstanding achievementiin community
improvements in 1968.
' Councilman Watt read letter-from Mr. R. H. Hackendahl,
Director, National Clean Up-Paint Up-Fix Up Bureau, dated
March 6, 1969, seeking our advice and counsel; on sugges-
tions and/or recommendations for the National; Clean Up
Contest and the National Congress on Beautification. This
letter will be referred to the Village Beautification
Committee for reply.

On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Vick-Mayor Bell,
all present voting aye, the minutes of Beautification
Committee meeting held February 26_, 1969 were accepted by
Council. ,
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman
Everard, all present voting aye, Council authorized donation
in the amount of $100.00 to the Gator's Booster Club.
Village Manager read highlights of Village Financial Report
for period ending January 31, 1969. On motion of Vice-
Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, all present voting
aye, this report was accepted by Council and ~ true copy
will be attached to the minutes of this meetiig.
Village Manager read highlights of Building Department
Statistical Data Report for February 1969 and; this report
was accepted by Council.

Village Manager read highlights of Public Works Department
Activity Report for February 1969 and this report was
accepted by Council.

Public Safety for February 1969 and this report was accepted
by Council.
Village Manager read report from North Palm Belch Library
for February 1969 and this report was acceptedby Council.

On motion of Councilman Everard, seconded by Vice-Mayor
Be11, all present voting aye, that we approve expense for
Councilman Watt to attend the public hearing iri Tallahassee
on March 17, 1969 to exercise our option in opposition to
House Bill No. 323 as now proposed.

On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Counciilman Watt,
all present voting aye, that Council appoint Patricia
Atwater to the Recreation Advisory Board. i
Vice-Mayor Bell gave a report on the Village Go`~f Tourna-
ment to be held at the North Palm Beach Country; Club on
March 15 and 16. He stated there were 141E scheduled to
play golf on each day and there were only about, two or
three l-oursomes left. This consists of Villageiresidents,
club members and invited guests.
The Council will meet as the Election Canvass Board on
Wednesday, March 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Village', Hall.
The Regular Meeting en Thursday, March 27, willlbe
organizational meeting for the Council. ~
