TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 1968

Mayor Lewis called the Regular Meeting to order at ROLL CALL
8:00 p.m. and asked the Village Clerk to call the roll,
all members being present.

Mayor Lewis referred to letter from Mr. Ney C. Landrum, 9/13/68 LETTER
Director of Outdoor Recreational Development Council, FROM N. C. LANDRUM
dated September 13, 1968, which was in reply to Mayor RE STATE PARK
Lewis` letter of September 11, 1968 relative to-the ON SINGER ISLAND
state park on Singer Island. The Mayor stated there
are only two areas in this vicinity being considered -
namely, a tract of land in Jupiter and this particular
piece of land.
Mayor Lewis informed Council that they will meet at COUNCIL TO MEET
the Club with the Country Club Board of Governors WITH BD. OF
on Wednesday, October 2, 1968 at 7:30 p.m. to review GOVERNORS 10/2/68
the Club's fiscal 1968-69 budget.
Mayor Lewis advised Council that Mr. Murphy of the CHRISTMAS TREE
NPBYAA inquired about the date for the Village LIGHTING CEREMONY
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The date set for TO BE HELD
this ceremony is Friday, December 13, 1968 at 7:30 12/13/68
p.m.
On motion of Councilman Everard, seconded by 7/29/68 & 8/21/65
Councilman Watt, all present voting aye, the Approved MINUTES OF BD.

On motion of Vice-Mayor Be11, seconded by Councilman

be attached to the minutes of this meeting_

Council, on motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by
Vice-Mayor Be11, all present voting aye, the meeting
wa.s adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
