WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20, 1968

Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 7:20 p.m. ROLL CALL
• and asked the Village Clerk to call the roll, all members being
present except Councilman Clark and Village Attorney Gildan.
Councilman Everard arrived at 7:30 p.m. _
Mayor Lewis stated that the purpose of the meeting was to con- PURPOSE OF
stitute the Council as the official General Election and Charter MEETING
Board Election Canvassing Board for the purpose of canvassing
the vote of March 19, 1968.
Council inspected the Statement of Canvass for the General Election INSPECTION OF
and Charter Board Election on March 19, 1968 for Precinct No. 48 STATEMENT OF
and Precinct No. 49. CANVASS
Mayor Lewis asked the Village Clerk to read the official tabulation
of machine votes cast in the General Election and Charter Board _
Election on March 19, 1968 and these were as follows:

Village Councilman, Group 3
David C. Clark - 218 votes
Village Councilman, Group 5
Thomas F. Lewis - 252 votes
Tom Rhodes (write-in) - 1 vote

AND THE CHARTER BOARD ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 19, 1968
was read in full and adopted a.s read as Resolution No. 337-68.
There being no further business to come before the Special ADJOURNMENT
Meeting of the Village Council, sitting as the official Election
Canvassing Board, on motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by
Councilman Watt, all present voting aye, the meeting was adjourned
at 7:35 p.m. -
