On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Clark, all 2/13/68 MINUTES OF
present voting aye, the minutes of Regular Meeting held Tuesday, REGULAR MEETING
February 13, 1968 were approved a.s written. APPROVED
Mayor Lewis stated that the Workshop Meeting scheduled for 3/19/68-WORKSHOP
Tuesday, March 19, 1968 will be canr_elled due to the Village CANCELLED
General Election and Charter Board Election, and that Council
will meet as a.n Election Board on We=_dnesday, March 20, 1968 -
at 7:00 p,m. in the Village Ha11.

A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PAIA~I BEACH,
FLORIDA, RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 280-66 WHICH ACCEPTED
THE PLAT OF VILLAGE EAST; AND VACATING AND ABANDONING
THE PLAT OF PALA1 BEACH-LAKE WORTH ESTATES, AS RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 25, PAGE 169, PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, EXCEPTING FROM SAID VACATION, ABANDONMENT
• AND RECISION. PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS LOCATED ON PROPERTIES
COVERED BY SAID PLATS WHICH ARE IN PRESENT USE; AND
AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE ATTORNEI' TO STIPULATE FOR THE

Village Manager read highlights of Village Financial Report for 1/31/68 VILLAGE
' period ending January 31, 1968. On motion of Councilman Everard, FINANCIAL REPORT
seconded by Councilman Clark, all present voting aye, this report ACCEPTED
was accepted by Council and a true copy will be attached to the
minutes of this meeting.

Mrs. Paa Lynch, 125 Cruiser Road South, a. teacher, approached REQUEST GRANTED TO
Council with a. request to distribute handbills in the parking areas MRS. LYNCH TO CONTACT
of Food Fair, J. M. Fields and the shopping center on Northlake VILLAGE RESIDENTS _
' Boulevard near Marta.s relative to the school crisis. Mrs. Lynch RE SCHOOL CRISIS
also requested permission for groups of teachers to go from door -
to door, house to house in the Village in an effort to present
the fa.ets to parents on this crisis.
Oxi motion of Councilman Everard, seconded by Councilman Clark,
three voting aye - Vice-Mayor Bell and Councilman Watt opposed -
• Council granted the request to Mrs. Lynch.
There being no further business to come before the Council, on ADJOURNMENT
motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Clark, all
present voting a.ye, the meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m. _ _
