MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 1967

Mayor Lewis called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. and asked
the Village Clerk to call the roll, all members being present
except Vice-Mayor Be11.
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Clark, all
present voting aye, the minutes of the Regular Meeting held Tuesday,
September 26, 1967 were approved a.s written.
On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting aye, the minutes of the Special Session held Tuesday,
October 3, 1967 were approved a.s rea.d.
Mayor Lewis informed Ceuncil that he ha.d received a. letter from
Harrison W. Buckley, Vice President of the Yacht Club Association,
thanking the Mayor and Council for their cooperation on the re-
zoning of property on U. S. 1 and also for the valuable time spent
at -their special meeting on September 24 and the presentation of the
fa.ets on this matter.
Mayor Lewis discussed letter from Senator Jerry Thomas dated
September 29, 1967 re Bill 660, The Code of Ethics Law, which
the Senator authored and passed during the 1967 Legislative Session,
and which went into effect October 1, 1967. The Mayor stated that
if the Council wanted to adopt this Code of Ethics, an ordinance
or resolution could be drawn for this purpose.
Mayor Lewis discussed letter received from Mrs. Robert
