u • n MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD TUESDAY, MAY 9, 1967 - Present: Thomas F. Lewis, Mayor David C. Clark, Councilman Allan V. Everard, Councilman Herbert A. Watt, Councilman Herbert L. Gildan, Vi1la.ge Attorney Joe J. Eassa., Jr., Village Clerk and Village Manager Dolores R. Walker, Village Manager's Secretary Absent: Thomas R. Bei1, Vice-Mayor Mayor Le~ois called the meeting to order a.t 8:15 p.m. and asked the ROLL CALL Village Clerk to call the roll, all members being present except Vice-Mayor Bell. On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all 4/25/67 MINUTES present voting aye, the minutes of the Regular Meeting held Tuesday, APPROVED April 25, 1967 were approved as written. On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all 5/2/67 MINUTES OF present voting a.ye, the minutes of the Public Hearing held Tuesday, PUBLIC HEARING Ma.y 2, 1967 were approved as read. APPROVED Mayor Lewis stated that he met with the Trustees of the Municipal MUNICIPAL FIREMEN'S Firemen's and Policemen's Pension Trust Fund. The second Monday & POLICEMEN'S of each quarter was the date set for the official meeting of the PENSION TRUST FUND Board of Trustees for this fund. Councilman Watt read article which appeared in the Palm Beach Post- SENATE BILL 695 Times Saturday, Ma.y 6, 1967 entitled "Thomas Pushes Water, Sewer Regulatory Bill." This is relative to Senate Bi11 695 which is sponsored by Senator Jerry Thomas. The bill, of course, is for the purpose of regulating water and sewer rates. On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all DEBT SERV. ACCT. present voting a.ye, Debt Service Account Statement of Cash Receipts STATEMENT OF CASK. and Disbursements, General E'und Balance Sheet, and Operating Statement RECEIPTS & DISBURSE- for the General Fund for the period ending March 31, 1967 were MENTS, GEN.
