Mayor Lewis called the meeting to order a.t 8:10 p.m. and asked the ROLL _CALL
Village Clerk to call the roll, all members being present except
Councilman Clark.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, a.ll present 2/28/67 MINUTES
voting a.ye, the minutes of the Regular Meeting held Tuesday, February APPROVED
28, 1967 were approved a.s written.
Mayor Lewis read letter from Senator "Skip" Ba.falis directed to his 3/2/67 LETTER FROM
attention, dated March 2, 1967, re having Municipal Firemen's Pension SENATOR BAFALIS
Trust Fund and Municipal Police Officers' Retirement Trust Fund checked TO MAYOR LEWIS
out in Tallahassee.
Mayor Lewis read letter from R. E. Ross, Northlake Properties, directed 3/8/67 LETTER FROM
to his attention, dated March 8, 1967, thanking the Village for the R. E. ROSS TO
pla.eque presented to Mr. Ross a.t the Tencennial Banquet and congratu- MAYOR LEWIS
lacing the Council on the efficient operation of the Village, a.nd
indicating his pleasure in noting the cash surplus for the year ending
October 30, 1966.
Mayor Lewis read letter from Harold Beery, Agent of Record for the
Village, directed to the Council's attention, dated March 14, 1967,
relative to the pension plan for Village employees.
Mr. Mallory Privett and Mr. Dick Duncan of the North Palm Beach -
Palm Beach Gardens Jaycees proposed to Council the running of a. per-
sonalized survey in the Village. These gentlemen left a. copy of the
questionnaire that would be used and also left a. copy of the results
of the survey the Jaycees ha.d conducted in Palm Beach Gardens for
the Council's perusal.
Council received minutes of Regular Meeting of the Planning and
Zoning Advisory Board held Wednesday, March 1, 1967.
Highlights o£ Building Official's Statistical Data. Report for
February 1967 read by Village Clerk Ea.ssa..
Council received minutes of meeting of Board of Governors of the
North Palm Beach Country Club held Thursday, February 16, 1967.
Council received monthly report from Director of Public Safety,
Herb Kohl, dated March 1, 1967.
' On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Everard, all
present voting aye, Council denied request for contribution to
Riviera. Beach High School, and Village Manager will send letter
of regret to Mrs. C. B. Link, Secretary of the Parent Group and
Program Chairman.

Mayor Lewis informed Council that there will be a. Special Meeting SPECIAL MEETING
Wednesday, March 22, 1967 a.t 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of canvassing 3/22j67 TO CANVASS
the votes for the Village Election to be held Tuesday, March 21, VOTES FOR VILLAGE
1967. ELECTION OF 3/21/67
Mayor Lewis also informed Council that the Workshop Meeting for
Tuesday, March 21, 1967 will be cancelled.
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Vice-Mayor Be11, all present
voting a.ye, Council received Revision of Voters Registration List
dated March 11, 1967 as outlined in Section 14 of Ordinance No. 42 and
provided by Village Supervisor of Registration.

Mr. Peter Carras of Peter Carras Realty, Inc., was present a.t the CONSTRUCTION OF

' advised Mr. Carras that this matter would have to be referred to the PB-LW ESTATES
Planning and Zoning Advisory Board, and that it would take a.pproxi-
ma.tely 60 days before an answer could. be provided for him.
With no further business to come before the Council, on motion of ADJOURNMENT
