asked Mrs. Walker to call the roll, all members being present except

Mayor Lewis stated that the purpose of the Public Hearing caa.s to hear
any affirmatives or objections to adding an additional use permitted
to the C-lA Limited Commercial District for dry storage marinas.
Herbert A. Watt, Acting Village Ma:na.ger, read Legal Notice dated
May 16, 1967 which wa.s published in the Palm Beach Post Ma.y 19,
1967 relative to above reclassification.
Mr. Walter Rydeaxd, 130 Doolen Court, Apartment 313C, was opposed
to this rezoning. He felt that the Bahia.-Ma.r apartment building is
too close to where gasoline tanks would be placed in this area..
He also felt that the traffic flow, both boat and automobile, would
be a. safety hazard because of the amount of boats and automobiles
that would be involved, especially on a. weekend. He a.1so stated
that parking facilities are not adequate.
Mr. Ma.rtoccia. indicated that he feels this is not a. rezoning
problem. He is only seeking the addition to the present zoning
classification of a. dry storage marina,.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting a.ye, the Public Hearing wa.s adjourned a.t 8:10 p.m.
:Respectfully submitted,
