MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
TUESDAY, JUNE 13, 1967

Mayor Lewis called the meeting to order a.t 8:20 p.m. and asked
Mrs. Walker to call the roll, all members being present.
On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting aye, the minutes of the Regular Meeting held Tuesday,
May 23, 1967 were approved as written.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting a.ye, the minutes of the Public Hearing held Tuesday,
June 6, 1967 were approved as corrected.
Council received and a.ecepted minutes of North Palm Beach Country
Club Board of Governors meeting held Thursday, Ma.y 18, 1967.
Highlights of Building Official's Statistical Data. Report for May
1967 were read by Acting Village Manager, H. A. Watt.
Highlights of Monthly Report from Herb Kohl, Director of Public
Safety, dated June 1, 1967 were read by Acting Vi1la.ge Manager,
H. A. Watt.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting a,ye, Bi11 No_ 23 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 121, THE OFFENSES ORDINANCE, BY
PERMITTING ROUND BUTTON MARKERS ON SWALE AREAS FOR THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH

On motion of Councilman Clark, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting a.ye, Bill No. 25 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH AMENDING
ORDINANCES N0. 91 AND 110 CONCERNING THE BOARD OF
GOVERNORS OF NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB BY INCREASING
THE NUMBER OF MEMBERS TO SEVEN, SETTING FORTH TIMES AND
DATES FOR BOARD MEETINGS AND MEMBER MEETINGS, TRANSFERRING
FISCAL CONTROL TO THE VILLAGE TREASURER'S OFFICE, REGULATING
THE EMPLOYMENT OF THE COUNTRY CLUB MANAGER AND PROVIDING
FOR BOARD MEMBERS TO SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL

On motion of Vice-1Ma.yor Be11, seconded by Councilman Clark, all present CONTACT AWARDED TO -
voting aye, Council awarded contract in an amount not to exceed ALLIED ELECTRIC

$1,825.00 to Allied Electric Supply, Inc., the only bidder submitting _
SUPPLY, INC.
a. bid to supply the required parts for the maintenance of our street
lights.
• On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, a.ll present AGENT OF RECORD TO
voting a.ye, Council authorized our Agent of Record to proceed with ACCEPT BIDS -
his plans to accept bids for Village employees' Pension Plan and
Disability Plan, which plans are to commence September 1, 1967. _
With no further business to come before the Council, on motion of ADJOURNMENT
Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Everard, all present voting
