MINUTES OF REORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
OF THE
VILLAGE GOUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
MONDAY, APRIL 3, 1967
Present: Thomas F. Lewis, Mayor
Thomas R. Bell, Vice-Mayor
Allan V. Evera.rd, Councilman
Herbert A. Watt, Councilman
Joe J. Ea.ssa, Jr., Vi1la.ge Clerk and
Village Manager
Dolores R. Walker, Village Mana.ger's
Secretary
Absent: David C. Clark, Councilman
Herbert L_ Gildan, Village Attorney
Mayor Lewis called the meeting to order a.t 8:15 p.m. and asked the
Vi1la.ge Clerk to call the roll, all members being present except Council-
man C1a.rk and Village Attorney Gildan.
The Village Clerk administered the Oath of Elected Councilman a.s required
by Article III, Section 8, of the Village Charter for Councilmen
Thomas R. Bell and Herbert A. Watt.
The Village Clerk administered the Oath of Allegiance as required
by Florida. Statutes 876.05, 1965 £or Councilmen Thomas R. Bell
and Herbert A. Watt.
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Councilman Everard, all
present voting a.ye, the Office of Mayor and the Office of Vice-Mayor
remained the same for this year a.s for 1a.st year - namely, Thomas F.
' Lewis, Mayor and Thomas R. Bell, Vice-Mayor.
On motion of Councilman Everard, seconded by Councilman Watt, a.ll
present voting aye, Resolution No. 3.03-67 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, APPOINTING THE MAYOR AND VICE-MAYOR FOR SAID
VILLAGE
was adopted as read.

Village Clerk Ea.ssa. administered the Oath of Office to Mayor Thomas
F. Lewis a.s provided by Florida Statutes 165.06, 1965.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting aye, the positions of the Vi1la,ge Manager, Village Clerk,
Village Attorney, Vi1la,ge Judge and Judges Ad Litem, Village
Treasurer, Vi1la.ge Tax Assessor, Village Ta.x Collector, Director
of Public Safety, and the existing members of all boards and
committees of -the Village were reaffirmed.
On motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Vice-Mayor Bell, all present
voting aye, the Reorganizational Meeting was adjourned a.t 8:35 p.m.
