Members of the public who wish to speak on any item listed on the Regular Session or Workshop Session
Agenda will be called on when the issue comes up for discussion. Time Limit: 3 minutes
Anyone wishing to speak should complete a Public Comment Card (on the table at back of Council Chambers)
and submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting.

1. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2015 -02 — COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN TEXT AMENDMENT FOR MIXED -USE ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES Consider a
motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2015 -02 adopting Comprehensive
Plan Text Amendment 14 -1 amending the Future Land Use Element to provide for mixed -use
assisted living facilities within commercial planned unit developments.

2. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2015 -04 — CODE
AMENDMENT — PANHANDLING REGULATIONS Consider a motion to adopt and enact
on second reading Ordinance 2015 -04 amending Chapter 19, "Offenses and Miscellaneous
Regulations," of the Village Code of Ordinances to regulate panhandling activities within the
Village.

3. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2015 -05 — CODE AMENDMENT —
POLICE AND FIRE PENSION PLAN AMENDMENT Consider a motion to adopt and enact
on second reading Ordinance 2015 -05 amending Chapter 2, Article V, Division 4 "Pension
and Certain Other Benefits for Fire and Police Employees," of the Village Code of Ordinances
to amend the definition of earnings and increase firefighter member contributions.

4. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2015 -06 — CHARTER
AMENDMENT — CHANGING THE RUNOFF DATE FOR SPECIAL ELECTIONS Consider a
motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2015 -06 amending Article III,
Section 5, "Vacancies; Forfeiture of Office, Filling of Vacancies," of the Village Charter to
change the runoff date for special elections from one week after the date of a special
election to two weeks after the special election date.

5. 1ST READING OF ORDINANCE 2015 -07 — CODE AMENDMENT — COMMERCIAL
SANITATION SERVICE COLLECTION PROCEDURES Consider a motion to adopt on first
reading Ordinance 2015 -07 amending Section 14 -30, "Commercial Use Property Waste Disposal
Fees and Collection Procedures," of Chapter 14 of the Village Code of Ordinances to remove
the reference to dumpster size and provide for Village collection unless the Village is unable
to meet service demands.
ACTION
D. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro -forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

RESOLUTION — HYDRAULIC EXTRICATION EQUIPMENT PURCHASE Consider a
motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving the purchase of Holmatro hydraulic
extrication equipment from Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc. in an amount not to
exceed $67,724.74 and the sole source purchase of related equipment from South Florida
Emergency Vehicles, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $2,767.00; approving a budget
amendment to fund the purchase; and authorizing the Village Manager to execute an
Interlocal Contract for Cooperative Purchasing with H -GAC.
