A public hearing was held ia.the Village Hall, October 5, = r~JBLIC
1965, at 8:00 p.m. to hear arguments relative to the pro- I3~~.ARING
posed rezoning of two recently annexed parcels, to wit: _ _ _
the comiiiercial area on the north side of Northlake Blvd.,
and east of Prosperity Farms Road, x`~om R-1 to C-l9 and
the NPB Private Sehool area, from R-1 to C-lA. The hear-
ing ended at 8:15 p.m. ~ ~:"
Mayor Lewis called a special meeting of the Uiliage Council SFECIIIL -
to order at 8x15 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll. Mss.+TING
All members were present. Mayor Lewis announced that the ROLL
special purpose of the meeting was to pass the 1965-66 Budget Ca`1LL
Ordinance on second and final reading. TJfayor Lewis stated
that a public hearing on the proposed Budget had been held on_'
Tuesday, September 21, 1965 and that no changes had been made
since that time. In accordance with State law and the revised
Village Charter, the recommended changes had been posted on the
public bulletin boards for the past two weeks for public edifi-
cation.
On motion of Councilman Everard, seconded by Councilman Dun-
can, all members voting aye, proposed Ordinance No. 122-65,
entitled

The Clerk then proceeded to read the amendments that had been
made and finalized at the September 21st public hearing and
which had been posted publicly.
On motion of Councilman Duncan, seconded by Councilman Watt, OrO. N0.
all members voting aye, the proposed amendments to proposed 122-65
Ordinance No. 122-65, as read, were adopted, On motion of P.P.SSED9
Councilman Everard, seconded by Vice ~Tayor Bell, all members EP7~CTE.ll
voting aye, Ordinance No. 122-65 ivas enacted as amended.
There being no further special business to come before the AT~JOURD]'-
Council, on motion of Councilman Watt, seconded by Council- MT;NT
man Duncan, all members voting aye, the meeting was adjourned _
at 8:30 p. m.
