(Bell/Everard/All Aye) No change ~~onsiderable complaint was voiced by several residents who had been informed by the Tax Assessor that the disability exemption of X500 would not be allowed on the 1965 tax roll. Those who attended the meeting included Henry Eckes, Jesse Jones, and Mr. and hrs. Hallman. Alter hearing complaints, the Tax Assessor requested. a ruling be rendered by the Village Attorney regarding the law covering exemptions for disability. The Tax Equalizing Board. had no actioh on this matter inasmuch;.„ as it does not come under the function of the Board. _ After completing complaints on equalization, on re~x motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Everard, all members voting aye, the tax roll for 1965, as equalized, was accepted by the Tax Equalizing Board.a The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m. Respectf~zlly submitted, FRANK R.
