01 2015 Newsletter I wish I was in North Palm Beach! Village of North Palm BeachVillage of North Palm BeachVillage of North Palm Beach “The Best Place to Live Under the Sun” JANUARY 2015JANUARY 2015 Pg. 2—Village Manager Village Manager A Message from the Village Manager Jim Kelly 561-841-3380 Dear Residents, I wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year! December was packed with many activities and events. I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy some or all of them. All of us here in Florida can appreciate the two extremes our cover depicts this month. It is why we spend the winter or all year in this wonderful paradise of sunshine and warm weather. On that note, the Village changes landscape contractors this fiscal year. We are gradually sprucing up the medians on Northlake and US 1, and around our facilities. If you see any areas of concern or have any suggestions, please contact my assistant Joanna at (561)-904-2122 or email her at jsharp@village-npb.org. Our new website is scheduled to roll out this spring. We anticipate that the new site will enhance the level of information sharing and communication between the Village and our residents. Residents will be able to take advantage of this user-friendly website to:  Sign up to get email or text notifications of any or all activities and events in the Village  Emergency alerts regarding weather, traffic or crime  Apply for permits online, and pay for Business Tax Receipts online  Notify the village of any issues or concerns, such as a street light out. Our Country Club Restaurant is open seven days per week from 7 am to 7 pm. Please come to enjoy our delicious menu items, and our daily happy hour. I look forward to seeing you there! Again, I wish all of you a very Happy and Healthy New Year! Volunteer Tax-Aide Counselors Needed for Northern Palm Beach County! Help people and give your mind a workout, too.
