03-12-1963 VC REG-M r i MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING of the VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH held March 12, 1963 Present' Warren P. Tatoul, Mayor Charles M. Bowman, Vice-Mayor Frank J. Hahn, Councilman Louis J. Aiello, Jr., CouncilmaZ C. Robert Burns, Village Attorney Albin R. Olson, Village Manager and Clerk Mayor Tatoul called the meeting to older at 8:00 p.m. and requested the Clerk call the roll. Mayor Tatoul requested the Clerk read the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council held February 12, 1963. The minutes were approved as read. On motion of Councilman Hahn, seconded by Councilman Aiello, all members voting aye, proposed Resolution-#156 entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, CONCERNING THE PURCHASE BY THE VILLAGE OF A TRACT OF LAND FROM SCRIPPS-HOWARD BROADCASTING COMPANY; AUTHORIZING THE VILI..4GE OFFICIALS TO CONSUMMATE SUCH PURCHASE AND TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS INCLUDING A MORTGAGE PAYABLE FROM FUNDS TO BE RECEIVED BY THE VILLAGE DURING THE FISCAL YEAR 1962-1963; AMENDING THE BUDGET RESOLUTION FOA THE FISCAL YEAR 1962- 1963; AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE P. CON- TRACT WITH THE OFFICIALS OF NORTH PALM BEACH FRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, INC. RESPECTING THE SALE BY THE VILLAGE TO THE CHURCH OF PART OF SAID LAND SO TO BE PURCHASED BY THE VILLAGE FROM SCRIPPS-HOWARD BROADCASTING COMPANY AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES; AND CANCELLING THE FREEHOLDERS' ELEC- TION CALLED BY RESOLUTION NO. I55 TO HAVE BEEN HELD ON MARCH 19, 1963; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. was adopted. On motion of Vice-Mayor Bowman, seconded by Councilman Hahn, all members voting aye, proposed Resolution #157 entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH. n u i was adopted. On motion of Councilman Aiello, seconded by Vice-Mayor Bowman, all members voting aye, proposed Resolution #158 entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO SIGN A CERTAIN NOTE ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. was adopted. k • On motion of Councilman Hahn, seconded by Vice-Mayor Bowman, all members voting aye, proposed Resolution #159 entitled ' A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH WITH RESPECT TO LOCAL LEGISLATION ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE WHICH THE VILLAGE COUNCIL DESIRES 7HE PALM BEACH COUNTY LEGILSATIVE DELEGATION 70 SPONSOR AND TO INTRODUCE AT THE 1963 MEETING OF THE FLORIDA LEGISLATURE. was adopted. ' The statistical data report for the month of February was distributed to the Council.
