VILLAGE COLIlVCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH
held
January 23, 1962

Mayor Thomas called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
The Village Council discussed the matter of a proposed plat known
as Fairhaven Addition and examined the report of the Village Engineer. T_he
proposed Plat was approved subject to review by the Village Attorney and the
submission of an approved bond.
The Village Attorney was requested to_contact the new owners of the
land adjacent the present television tower located on Prosperity Farms Road
for the purpose of seeking information as to the interest of thw owners in
making this land area available to the Village for recreational purposes.
On motion of Councilman Bowman, seconded_by Councilman Hahn, all
members voting aye, proposed Resolution ?127 was adopted.
On motion of Councilman Aiello, seconded by Councilman Bowman, all
members voting aye, proposed Resolution #128 was adopted.
On motion of Councilman Hahn, seconded by Councilman Bowman, proposed
Resoltuion #128 was adopted.

aire, North Palm Beach Country Club, advising him the Village Council had no
objection to his entering into an agreement with North Palm Beach Youth Baseball
Inc., for the sale of food and beverages in conjunction with a Golf Tournament
to be held on February 4, 1962.
Three bods were opened for the renewal of certain expiring fire
insurance policies on property located at the North Palm Beach Country Club.
The bids received were as follows:
Tucker Insurance Agency $148.65
B. D. Cole, Inc. 213.17
Platz Insurance Company 253.57
The Village Manager was instructed to renew the expiring policies
with the Tucker Insurance Agency after ascertaining no error had been made in
the bid.
. The Village Council requested the Village Attorney contact Barcus,
Kindred & Company and advise them of their interest in looking into the feasi-
bility of the Village acquiring North Palm Beach Utilities, Inc., and also
request clarification of their proposed contract.
The Village Manager was instructed to arrange more frequent police
' patrol at the Boat Ramp on Saturday and Sunday afternoons to alleviate congestion
on the boat ramp itself.
There being no further business to come before the meeting on motion
of Councilman Hahn, seconded by Councilman Bowman, all members voting aye, the
meeting was adjourned.
