ROLL CALL
Mayor Aubrey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. All members of Council were present,
except President Pro Tem. Norris, who was out of town. All members of staff were present.
INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Councilman Bush gave the invocation. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by President Pro Tern Norris.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Minutes of the Regular Session held May 8, 2014 and the Special Session held May 13, 2014
were approved as written.
CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED
A motion was made by Councilman Manuel, seconded by Councilman Bush, and passed
unanimously to approve the consent agenda. The following item was approved:
Receive for file Minutes of the Recreation Advisory Board meeting held 5/13/14
MAYOR AND COUNCIL MATTER/REPORTS
Vice Mayor Gebbia distributed a letter from Lost Tree Village Property Owners Association (POA)
to Commissioner Valeche expressing opposition to the PGA Waterfront project at the intersection
of Ellison Wilson Road and PGA Boulevard. Vice Mayor Gebbia advised he was contacted by
Lost Tree Village's manager, who inquired whether North Palm Beach had taken a position on
the project. Council requested that Mr. Huff provide background information on the project for
its review, pending further discussion on adding this item to an upcoming Workshop agenda.
Mayor Aubrey reported on the North County Intergovernmental Meeting and ongoing discussion
of the All Aboard Florida plan.
VILLAGE MANAGER MATTERS /REPORTS
Mr. Huff gave an update on the status of businesses in compliance with Northlake Boulevard
Overlay Zoning requirements.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
