7. CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda is designed for the purpose of expediting issues considered to be of a routine or
pro forma nature such that the Council determines is not necessary to discuss and vote on each item
separately. Any member of Council may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would
automatically convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

a. BILL 1102 -POLICE & FIRE PENSION BOARD AMENDMENT. Consider a motion to
approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1102, a proposed ordinance amending Division 4,
Pension and Certain Other Benefits for Fire and Police Employees, of Art. V, of Ch. 2,
Administration, of the Code; amending normal form of retirement, reducing early retirement
factor, changing disability retirement benefit, and amending optional forms of benefits.

b. BILL 1103 -CODE AMENDMENT -MOTORIZED SCOOTERS. Consider a motion to
approve second reading and enactment of Bill 1103, a proposed ordinance amending Ch. 18,
Motor Vehicles and Traffic of Art. II Operation of Vehicles Generally; creating a new section 18-
20 to be entitled "Motorized Scooters", providing definitions and regulations.

BILL 1104 -BUDGET APPROPRIATION -GOLF COURSE MASTER PLAN STUDY.
Consider a motion to approve first reading of Bill 1104, a proposed ordinance amending the North
Palm Beach Country Club Fund Budget for Fiscal Year 2002-2003 to appropriate $15,000 for a
Master Plan Study for the golf course.

14. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
a. OSBORNE PARK BUILDING RENOVATION. Consider a motion to approving preliminary
costs for design services and construction plans for the Osborne Park Building renovation.
b. SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE - PESTICIDE FOR MOLE CRICKET INJECTION.
Consider a motion to approve a sole source purchase of Chipco Choice pesticide from Bayer
Environmental Science for mole cricket injection at the North Palm Beach Country Club golf
course.
DONATION -NORTH PALM BEACH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL -CONVENTION.
Consider a motion to approve request to donate $500 to teachers from North Palm Beach
Elementary School to purchase materials at the International Reading Association Convention.
