C. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND QUASI-JUDICIAL MATTERS
1ST READING OF ORDINANCE 2014-02 – CODE AMENDMENT – EARMAN RIVER PIERS
1.
Consider a motion to adopt on first reading a proposed ordinance amending Section 5-84 of
Chapter 5, “Boats, Docks and Waterways” of the Village Code of Ordinances to allow
alternate pier configurations within the Earman River.

The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro-forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

RESOLUTION –FIRE BAY DOORS
1. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution
accepting the bid of Door Systems of South Florida, Inc. for the replacement of six roll up Fire
Rescue Station Garage Doors at a total cost not to exceed $58,000, and authorizing execution
of the contract.

2. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed
resolution amending Resolutions 2013-51 and 2013-59 and approving the purchase of three
LED Lightbars from Strobes-R-Us of Pompano Beach at a total cost of $3,372.

3. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution
declaring one vertical platform lift, two pottery kilns, and one fitness machine as surplus
property and authorizing their disposal in accordance with Village policies and procedures.

he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is
made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based(F.S. 286.0105). In accordance with
the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person who may require special accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact
the Village Clerk’s office at 841-3355 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties
and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
