Members of the public may address the Council concerning items on the Consent Agenda or any
non-agenda item under Statements from the Public. Time Limit: 3 minutes
Members of the public who wish to speak on any item listed on the Regular Session or Workshop Session
Agenda will be called on when the issue comes up for discussion. Time Limit: 3 minutes
Anyone wishing to speak should complete a Public Comment Card (on the table at back of Council Chambers)
and submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting.

1. PUBLIC HEARING AND 2ND READING OF ORDINANCE 2014-01 — CODE AMENDMENT—
SEPARATION REQUIREMENTS BETWEEN RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL
PROPERTIES Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading a proposed
ordinance amending Section 45-36 of the Village Code of Ordinances to allow walls and
fences within the front yard setback where residential properties abut commercial or
industrial properties.

D. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro-forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

1. RESOLUTION — BUDGET AMENDMENT AND CAPITAL PURCHASE — THERMAL
IMAGING CAMERAS Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving and
authorizing the purchase of three thermal imaging cameras from Ten-8 Fire Equipment, Inc.
at a total amount not to exceed $31,125.00, authorizing a budget amendment to fund the
purchase, and declaring two existing thermal imaging cameras utilized by the Fire Rescue
Department as surplus property.
