PUBLIC HEARINGS AND QUASI-J UDICIAL MATTERS 1ST READING OF ORDINANCE 2014-01 – CODE AMENDMENT – SEPARATION 1. REQUIREMENTS BETWEEN RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES Consider a motion to adopt on first reading a proposed ordinance amending Section 45-36 of the Village Code of Ordinances to allow walls and fences within the front yard setback where residential properties abut commercial or industrial properties. Receive for file Minutes of the Audit Committee meeting held 12/11/13 E. OTHER VILLAGE BUSINESS MATTERS RESOLUTION – APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE GOLF ADVISORY BOARD 1. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution appointing one new member to serve as second alternate on the Village Golf Advisory Board. ACTION RESOLUTION – BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER FOR TIRES 2. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving a blanket purchase order with Tiresoles of Broward d/b/a Elpex Tires in an amount not to exceed $40,000. ACTION RESOLUTION – DECLARING ONE LAWN MOWER AS SURPLUS PROPERTY 3. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution declaring one 2006 Dixie Chopper Lawn Mower as surplus property and authorizing its disposal. ACTION RESOLUTION – EARMAN RIVER TRANSFER PUMP 4. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing the emergency purchase of components for the Earman River transfer pump from Hydro Dynamic Pumping Services, Inc. at a total cost of $12,255.64. This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council.
