1.PUBLIC HEARING AND SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 2013-09 – COMMERCIAL
TEMPORARY SIGNAGE
Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading
Ordinance 2013-09, a proposed ordinance amending Section 6-114, “Permitted temporary
signs” of Article V, “Signs and Outdoor Displays” of the Code of Ordinances to implement
additional requirements related to temporary signs.

D. CONSENT AGENDA
The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or
pro-forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically
convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote.

1. repealing Resolution 2012-59 and approving a revised Street Lighting
Agreement with FPL for the Southwest Neighborhood Improvement Project

1.RESOLUTION – TEMPORARY SIGN USE PERMIT FEE
Consider a motion to adopt a
proposed resolution establishing an administrative processing fee of $10 for temporary sign
use permits.

2.RESOLUTION – BEVERAGE CART PURCHASE
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed
resolution approving the purchase of a 2013 Club Car Café food and beverage cart from
Club Car Inc. at a cost not to exceed $14,546.40; and authorizing a budget amendment to
transfer funds for this expenditure.
ACTION
3.RESOLUTION – COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT VEHICLE PURCHASE
Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing the purchase of one 2013 Ford
150 pickup truck from Hub City Ford at a total amount not to exceed $17,329; and authorizing
a budget amendment to transfer funds for this expenditure.
ACTION
4.MOTION – GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH VALLEY CREST GOLF
COURSE MAINTENANCE, INC.
Consider a motion to extend the existing cure notice period
and authorize staff to accomplish the extension; OR authorize the Village Manager to proceed
with a June 8, 2013 cure notice decision and to subsequently approve the execution of a
replacement contract with Valley Crest, appropriately executed by the Village Manager and
Village Clerk.

If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting,
he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is
made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based(F.S. 286.0105). In accordance with
the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person who may require special accommodation to participate in this meeting should contact
the Village Clerk’s office at 841-3355 at least 72 hours prior to the meeting date.
This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties
